According to the ATO, a significant number of businesses they visited last year had workers incorrectly engaged as contractors instead of employees. If allocated correctly this can save money, however, can be a costly mistake costing businesses in penalties for failing to comply with superannuation and tax obligations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
